Hot. It’s fall in Matinha. Yes, the cold has come through the shade and is waiting outside. He knocks on the door and tries to squeeze through the gaps in the windows. But the heat of the house overwhelms him and bars his entrance. Sad and defeated, the cold always ends up taking a turn.
The room is decorated with the serenity that mid-season brought when it brought the first leaves. In the fireplace the branches burn, with a happy crackle to see the season open. Whoever sits in one room or another, curls up to stay.
The rest is simple. It’s based on reading lost in the pages; on walks in search of what has changed in nature; on burning the last cartridges on deserted beaches; and on snacks of homemade cake and chamomile tea. Oh, and in between, there’s an unmissable show that’s slowly unfolding outside. There is no appointment, but you should reserve a seat in front of the window. On the glass screen, a film is being projected in orange. And the plot talks about all the wonderful things you discover when you embark on this season called “Autumn”.
